Can I charge a lithium battery on cold mornings at Lake Chelan?
Standard lithium batteries should not be charged below 32°F, and mountain mornings can drop below freezing in spring and fall. Let the battery warm up first, or choose a model with internal heating, like several EPOCH batteries and the Dakota Lithium DL+ 135Ah. Discharging in the cold is fine, but available capacity drops.
