Do I need a heated lithium battery for Montauk?
Only if you plan to charge in freezing weather. Standard lithium batteries should not be charged below 32°F. Batteries with internal heating, like several EPOCH models and the Dakota Lithium DL+ 135Ah, warm themselves before charging. For normal spring-to-fall use with winter storage, a standard lithium battery is fine.
Do chargers and accessories ship free?
Chargers, accessories and lithium batteries of $150 or less ship free when your cart subtotal is $150 or more. Otherwise a flat shipping rate applies, shown at checkout.
Do you have a store or installer in Montauk?
No. We ship to Montauk from our store. Professional installation is a flat $99 per battery ($249 for a 24V or 36V lithium bank) anywhere from Venice to Gainesville, with no travel charge.
Can you ship to my marina?
We can ship to most addresses, but marinas with restricted access or no way to receive freight may cost extra or need special arrangements. A home or business address is usually easiest. Contact us before you order if you want to ship to a marina.
