Battle Born batteries are a familiar name to anyone who has upgraded an RV, van or boat to lithium. Their LiFePO4 deep-cycle batteries are built to drop into the spaces where lead-acid batteries used to sit, with a built-in battery management system to protect the cells. On a boat, that makes them a natural fit for house banks, trolling motor banks and electronics.
The Battle Born batteries we carry include the 12V 100Ah deep-cycle battery and its GC2-footprint version, which suits compartments built for golf-cart-size 6V batteries. There’s also a high-capacity 12V GC3 battery, a 12V Group 24 battery, and a 24V model for 24V systems. Many have Bluetooth monitoring, and some have internal heating for charging in the cold. Choosing a Battle Born battery for your boat
House banks
Battle Born batteries are a popular choice for house power on cruisers, sailboats and pontoons. Because LiFePO4 can be discharged deeply and recharges efficiently, a lithium house bank can deliver more usable energy than a lead-acid bank of similar size. Picking a footprint
- Group 27/31-style 12V 100Ah: fits many existing 12V battery boxes.
- GC2 12V 100Ah: sized like a golf-cart battery. It’s a good choice when you’re replacing pairs of 6V lead-acid batteries.
- GC3 12V high capacity: a larger footprint with more capacity in a single case.
- Group 24 12V: for tighter compartments.
- 24V: for 24V systems and trolling motors without wiring two 12V batteries in series.

Trolling motors and electronics
Battle Born 12V batteries can run 12V trolling motors or serve in a series bank for 24V and 36V motors, when the manufacturer allows. The 24V model handles a 24V motor in one case. Protecting a lithium install
Lithium batteries can deliver high current into a short circuit, so overcurrent protection close to the battery is essential. Battle Born’s marine-rated battery fuses mount right at the terminal, and the matching fuse block holds them securely. Size the fuse for your wire and loads. Charging

Why are some listings “series” products with options?
Some Battle Born batteries come in versions, such as with or without Bluetooth or heating. Choose the version on the product page.
Can I replace two 6V lead-acid batteries with a Battle Born GC2?
Often, yes. The GC2 footprint matches golf-cart-size batteries. Check your bank’s voltage and capacity needs and your charging setup first.
